Series Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), including successive lectures in the field of Artificial Intelligence (LNAI) and lecture in Bioinformatics LNBI symbol), has established itself as a means of publishing new developments in the field of computer science and information technology, research and training - quickly, informally and at a high level.

LNCS commenced publication in 1973 and quickly attracted the attention not least because it is still just published an unprecedented twist.
